Our CamPS

Since launching Fencing for a Purpose, we've hosted multiple successful camps for children with special needs. We're excited to continue expanding this initiative by partnering with a variety of organizations to bring even more camps to life. As new camps are scheduled, this page will be updated with registration links and detailed information. Stay tuned!

Upcoming Camp:

We partnered with Community Connections to make a fencing camp that would introduce children to the centuries-old sport of fencing. Fencing is considered one of the best sports for kids as it requires not only athleticism and coordination, but also the ability to strategize and thing very fast.

Upcoming Camp:

On Wednesday, July 9, Fencing for a Purpose partnered with Windy City Fencing and The Latin School of Chicago to host an exciting fencing open house for kids ages 8–14. Led by nationally ranked high school fencers and a Windy City coach, participants learned basic fencing skills, how to watch a match, and engaged in fun games and movement-based activities—all while making new friends.

This free, hands-on event was designed to be inclusive, energetic, and welcoming to all—no experience required. A big thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped introduce the joy of fencing to a new generation!
