ABOUT us
Fencing for a Purpose Inc. was started in May of 2023 by 3 devoted fencers and high school students: Alex Wolfe from Florida, Nikhil Khanna from Texas, and Theodore Tikhomirov from Illinois. We started this charity with the goal of sharing our passion for fencing. Fencing has opened us up to a lot of great experiences, and we have learned a lot from fencing; after all, fencing is how the 3 of us met.

What we do
So far we have run two camps—one for children with disabilities, and another for small children in Frisco, Texas. These camps were very well received, and all of the camp’s participants were very happy about learning about the sport of fencing. We are currently planning on running two more camps. Our next camp will take place in Washington DC. After that, we hope to run a camp in April for children of military families. We also plan on supporting the national fencing team of Ukraine.

Lonestar Abilities
Lonestar Abilities partnered with us to run our first camp. They were not only generous enough to pay for the facility for the camp but also mentored us through the process of starting and running a nonprofit.

We partnered with absolute fencing when we needed to get equipment to run our first camp.

We donated funds to sponsor Ukraine’s cadet fencing nationals. Additionally, we plan to expand this partnership and sponsor more competitions and provide equipment.
